Commonwealth International, the world’s unique culture and charity brand beauty pageant for Commonwealth countries, hosted its annual 18th Women Empowerment Grand Finale Gala in London, United Kingdom.

Canada’s Goodwill Ambassador and an Indo-Canadian Mrs. Kamini Singh won the International Title of Ms. Commonwealth Euro-Atlantic 2018-19 which is a very special achievement the Canadian team as this was one of the rare full titles won by Canadian team.

There were participants from most of the Commonwealth Nations in Asia, Africa, Caribbean and Americas.

In the capacity of Mrs. Commonwealth Euro Atlantic, Kamini will be having courtesy meetings with Canadian Government officials at different levels. In 2019, she would launch her social and community projects in Canada & also abroad. The title expects its holder to make an impact in society especially in areas of women empowerment.

It was great honour and pride for Kamini to earn the Federal , Provincial and local City Government citations from  Federal Caucus Minister’s, Provincial MPP’s from Queens Park, Toronto and from the Well known Councillor from The City of Markham congratualting her for winning of the Title of Euro Atlantic at CWI in London,UK. Federal Conservative Party of Canada Hon Michelle Rempel sent the citation Congratulating success at CWI. She received citations from  ON PC Party’s Mississauaga Erin Mills Riding MPP Sheref Sabawy and well known City Councillor Amanda Yeung Collucci at her Welcome Brunch on Dec 16, 2018 in Mississauga .

Kamini is balancing well the role between being an IT Professional in area of Business Analysis and is a mother of a young son and 16 months-old daughter.

She is quite active in socio-cultural causes related to women, youth and needy sections of society in Canada and India through her NGO Indeed We Can. She is actively associated with Ekal movement that helps in education to underprivileged children in India. She has performed dance in many formats including Bollywood and semi-classical, at various reputed platforms throughout her career.  In the past, Kamini has been Mrs. South Asia People’s Choice Award winner in Canada.

Kamini’s family lives in Jharkhand, India while she was born and brought up in Kharagpur, West Bengal. She has stayed outside of India for a decade and half including in Africa, Europe and North America. She came to Canada with her husband and kid in 2013. It is her exposure to such multitude of cultures and societies which has kindled a very strong desire in her to work for the society specially the underprivileged and build a better community. Her belief in life is that each moment matters and every bit counts!
