BC Deputy Speaker Calls on Speaker Rana KP Singh

 Discussed various issues of mutual interest

The Canadian province British Columbia’s Deputy Speaker Mr. Raj Chauhan met Punjab  Vidhan Sabha Speaker Rana KP Singh.

During the meeting both leaders have discussed various issues of mutual interest. Lauding the hard working Punjabi NRIs, Rana KP Singh said that It is very proud moments for us that Punjabis have occupied such a high positions in the foreigner countries especially in Canada. He said that Punjabi diaspora can play a major role to further strengthen the relationship between both countries.

Mr. Raj Chauhan has extended an invitation to the Speaker for Canada visit in March next year. He also stressed upon the need to start exchange programmes between the legislatures to share their experiences with each other. On the occasion Mr. Pargat Singh MLA and Mr. Pawan Diwan were also present.
