Building Brampton’s next generation of entrepreneurs this summer
Brampton Entrepreneur Centre and Government of Ontario partner to deliver the 2023 Summer Company Program locally

The Brampton Entrepreneur Centre, as part of the Economic Development Office, has announced the 2023 Summer Company Program cohort where students will learn how to run their own student business.
To help turn these business ideas into a reality, the Brampton Entrepreneur Centre will provide these students with business training, mentorship, and financial grants of up to $3,000.
From learning, sales, marketing, booking customer relationship management and more – these students will face both the challenges and successes of running a startup business and will ultimately experience what it is like to be a part of Brampton’s economic growth.
2023 Summer Company Brampton Cohort
This year’s Bramptonian cohort has a wide variety of unique businesses from making hand-made wooden charcuterie boards to amplifying the voices of Black visual artists
The 12 students were selected from more than 150 candidates, and all share a common passion for business and community. The Brampton Entrepreneur Centre looks forward to guiding their ventures into entrepreneurship and showcasing what these bright youths have to offer.

Summer Company is a government funded program that has provided students across Ontario with experience in entrepreneurship since 2001. The students whose ages range from 15-29 will be assisted in creating and managing their own original businesses over the course of the summer. Interacting with clients, promoting their businesses, and generating initial income are just some of the many tasks that these students will take on this summer when starting their entrepreneurship journey.
