CAPT AMARINDER MOURNS DEATH OF MOTHER-IN-LAW SARDARNI SATINDER KAUR KAHLON
PUNJAB GOVERNOR, OTHERS PAY THEIR LAST RESPECTS TO BEREAVED FAMILY

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh was bereaved when he lost his mother-in-law Sardarni Satinder Kaur Kahlon after a prolonged illness.
Sardarni Satinder Kaur (96), wife of late former Punjab Chief Secretary Sardar Gyan Singh Kahlon, is survived by Preneet Kaur (MP), along with a son Himmet Singh Kahlon and another daughter Geetinder Kaur.
Punjab Governor V.P. Singh Badnore laid wreath at the Sector 5 residence of the deceased and shared his heartfelt sympathy with the members of the bereaved family.
The mortal remains of Sardarni Satinder Kaur were consigned to fire at the electric crematorium at Sector 25 here. Besides the Chief Minister and other members of the family, Captain Amarinder’s brother-in-law, President Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) and former MP Simranjit Singh Mann, was present at the crematorium.
Among others who joined the bereaved family at the crematorium were MP Manish Tewari, President PPCC Sunil Jakhar, MLAs Hardyal Kamboj and Rajinder Singh, Chief Secretary Vini Mahajan, DGP Dinkar Gupta, AG Atul Nanda, Principal Secretary Finance KAP Sinha, Principal Secretary Technical Education Anurag Verma, Principal Secretary to the CM Tejveer Singh, Special Principal Secretary to the CM Gurkirat Kirpal Singh, and Additional Principal Secretary to CM Jitendra Jorwal.
