Eid Mubarak from MP Ruby Sahota

Ruby Sahota, Member of Parliament for Brampton North, would like to wish all Muslims in Brampton North and across Canada who are celebrating Eid Al-Fitr, a joyous Eid Mubarak.

Eid Al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, a month where Muslims abstain from food and drink from sunrise to sunset. Ramadan is a month for self-reflection, reinforcing one’s faith and giving back to the community by helping those less fortunate. During Eid, Muslims visit the mosque for special prayers, spend quality time with family and friends, exchange gifts and celebrate the end of Ramadan.

“Muslim Canadians continue to make Canada stronger, more open, and more prosperous. Together, let’s celebrate the end of the holy month of Ramadan, which signifies the appreciation for inclusion and diversity in our communities and the contribution of Muslim communities to our country”, said MP Sahota. “I wish a heartfelt Eid Mubarak to my Muslim brothers and sisters who are celebrating Eid Al-Fitr.”
