Former Union Minister and Lok Sabha Candidate from Chandigarh Pawan Kumar Bansal addressed a large gathering in Sector 48, Chandigarh

To win the support from residents of Chandigarh’s residential societies in and around Sector 48 in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, former Union Minister and Lok Sabha Candidate from Chandigarh Mr Pawan Kumar Bansal today addressed a large gathering in Sector 48 market where Chandigarh Unit’s Party president Pardeep Chhabra was also present.

While crowd raised slogans in Congress’ favour, the presidents of the residential societies here, open-heartedly showed their support to the four times MP from Chandigarh. Bansal on the other hand, assured them that if voted to power, he would make sure that the southern sectors – 48, 49, 50 and 51, too, fall under the most developed parts of the City Beautiful, with proper amenities, cleanliness and infrastructure.

Bansal also said that bringing Metro was his personal dream which was unfortunately butchered by BJP owing to its skewed vision and narrow-mindedness.

Also present on the occasion, Councilor Gurbaksh Rawat heavily lashed out at BJP for its continuous attempts at misleading the public while the organizer of the event Sandeep Bhardwaj urged the public to vote for Congress for the all-round development of the residential societies.  

Among other prominent Congress leaders present included HS Lucky, Gora Kang, Jatinder Bhatia, Harphool Singh Kalyan, PS Jaswal, Vinod Sharma, Meenakshi Chaudhary, H.L. Kundra, Vikas Soni, Devendra Gupta and Yadvinder Mehta.
