The Divine Jyotish School of Canada recently held its inauguration ceremony in Vaughn, Ontario, Canada. The school’s motto is to spread awareness of Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksha through the lens of Jyotish and encapsulate the holistic nature of Vedic philosophy. It is one of the first registered institutes in Canada that teaches Vedic Jyotish and plans to expand its courses in other areas of ancient Vedic knowledge, such as Sanskrit, Upanishad, Bhagavad Geeta, Reiki, and Yoga.

The school’s core committee, consisting of Acharya Jitendra Shahiwala (President and CEO), Acharya Ajit Parashar (Chairman), Mr. Bhavesh Desai (Director), and Mrs. Lina Mody (Director), are very learned and experienced in the field of Vedic Jyotish.

The event was honored by chief guests Acharya Surendar Sharma Shastri (Founder and President of Hindu Heritage Center, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada) and Acharya Rishiram Sharma (Chairman of Shree Radha Madhav Heritage Cultural Center, Brampton, Ontario, Canada). The ceremony began with a welcome speech and deep Pragatyam, followed by blessings from the honorable guests. More than 150 people attended the inauguration ceremony, and around 20 people registered for the course.

The Divine Jyotish School of Canada is committed to spreading ancient wisdom and helping individuals navigate their karmic cycles, aligning with the spiritual and holistic aspects of Vedic teachings. Their structured approach to teaching and the inclusivity of their courses, welcoming people from all backgrounds and religions, reflects an open-minded and accessible approach to sharing this intricate knowledge. Their course materials are drawn from a diverse range of sources, including rare astrology books, direct insights from distinguished astrologers, and modern research, which adds depth and authenticity to their educational offerings.
