Mayor Harpreet Kaur Babla urges citizens to donate blood for noble cause
Mega Blood Donation Camps at six locations of city on 14th May

City Mayor Harpreet Kaur Babla has given a call to all the citizens of city beautiful to come together to donate blood and help save lives during a mega Blood Donation Camp scheduled to be organized on 14th May 2025 across six key locations in the city.
While sharing about the mega blood donation camp for the noble cause, the Mayor said that this special initiative aims to promote the spirit of voluntary blood donation among citizens.
She urged residents to come forward and donate blood to save a life. Let this be a tribute to our soldiers who sacrifice for our safety. Your contribution can truly make a difference,” she said.
The camp is being conducted in active partnership with various NGOs, Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) and Market Welfare Associations (MWAs) and will be supported by trained healthcare professionals from Government Hospitals to ensure safe, hygienic, and efficient blood collection procedures.
She said that the Blood Donations camps will be started at 9.00 am sharp simultaneously in all the six locations throughout city at following locations:
- Community Centre, Manimajra Complex (Gobindpura)
- Mahila Bhawan, Sector 38
- Sector 15 Market
- Sector 19 Market
- Community Centre, Sector 28C
- Municipal Corporation Building, Sector 17, Chandigarh
The Mayor urged every citizen to participate and support this humanitarian cause. Every drop of blood donated is a step toward saving a life and honoring our heroes in uniform, said the Mayor.
