Minister Chagger welcomes the 25 young entrepreneurs selected for Youth Can Do It!
The Voice of Canada News
Bardish Chagger, Leader of the Government in the House of Commons and Minister of Small Business and Tourism, kicked off the Youth Can Do It! entrepreneurship, welcoming the 25 young entrepreneurs who were selected to take part to the nation’s capital.
Youth Can Do It!, which takes place from June 10 to 12, showcases the entrepreneurial journeys of ambitious young Canadians between the ages of 18 and 24 and demonstrates how the Government of Canada is encouraging small business development in this generation of young entrepreneurs.
Youth Can Do It! provides these passionate young entrepreneurs with the opportunity to learn from, and foster relationships with, experienced business leaders. The goal is for established entrepreneurs to provide actionable business advice that these young people can use to launch or grow their business and to create a business network. These young entrepreneurs will also get the chance to foster relationships with senior government officials.
The advice received and knowledge gained by these young entrepreneurs during their three days in Ottawa will be invaluable and will help drive their business ventures in the months and years ahead.
The evening reception was co-hosted by Futurpreneur Canada and BDC, who worked to provide a meaningful learning experience for the participants.
