NIMA Strongly Condemns the Brutal Killing of Innocent Tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir

The Voice of Canada-The Voice of Chandigarh News

The Network of Indian MICE Agents (NIMA) expresses its deepest condolences and strongly condemns the horrific killing of innocent tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir, in a cowardly terrorist attack.

This heinous act of violence is a blatant attempt to disrupt the ongoing momentum toward peace, stability, and economic resurgence in the Kashmir Valley. Targeting innocent lives — especially visitors who contribute to the region’s tourism-driven economy — is not only inhumane but a direct blow to the collective aspirations for progress and harmony.

“Our hearts go out to the families of the victims in this tragic and senseless incident. We share in their grief and stand united in condemning all forms of violence,” said the NIMA Executive Council.

NIMA also stands in solidarity with the people of Kashmir, especially the thousands of local families whose livelihoods depend on a thriving tourism industry. We believe that such acts, while deeply tragic, will not deter our collective commitment to building a peaceful and prosperous Kashmir.

NIMA urges all stakeholders — government authorities, civil society, and the travel fraternity — to work together in ensuring safety, stability, and confidence for all tourists and citizens alike.
