Following the brutal terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the Indian Armed Forces have delivered a devastating blow to Pakistan under Operation Sindoor. In a joint press briefing held in Delhi by the Army, Navy, and Air Force, India revealed the full scale of its military retaliation.
Fierce Retaliation at LOC: 35–40 Pakistani Soldiers Killed
Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai, DGMO of the Indian Army, confirmed that between May 7 and 10, India conducted heavy artillery strikes and cross-border fire exchanges at the Line of Control (LoC), resulting in the death of 35 to 40 Pakistani soldiers. Several Pakistani military installations were destroyed in these precise attacks, including airbases and air defense systems.
9 Terrorist Camps Destroyed, Over 100 Terrorists Killed
Operation Sindoor was launched with the intent to annihilate terrorist infrastructure. India successfully infiltrated and destroyed 9 terrorist camps inside Pakistan, eliminating more than 100 terrorists. Among them were three high-value targets:
- Yusuf Azhar (mastermind behind IC814 hijacking)
- Abdul Malik Rauf
- Mudasir Ahmed (planner of the Pulwama attack)
5 Indian Soldiers Martyred
In this bold and successful mission, five brave Indian soldiers lost their lives. However, all pilots involved in the operation returned safely. The mission was executed with precision and coordination across military branches.
India Issues Stern Warning to Pakistan
DGMO Lt. Gen. Ghai issued a clear and firm warning:
“If Pakistan dares to violate the ceasefire or support terrorism again, India’s retaliation will be even more ferocious. We decide when, where, and how to strike back.”
