Panchhi requested an extension until April 15, 2025, for executing sale deeds for individuals who had submitted appointment request letters by March 31

A delegation from the Property Federation Chandigarh (Regd), led by President Kamaljit Singh Panchhi, along with Amit Jain, Manav Bedi, Mahesh Chugh, and Manmohan Singh Kohli, met with the Deputy Commissioner of Chandigarh. The delegation expressed serious concerns regarding the challenges faced by numerous individuals in securing timely appointments through the online system for the execution of sale deeds.
During the meeting, Panchhi and the members requested the Deputy Commissioner to extend the deadline for the execution of sale deeds by 15 days, until 15th April 2025. They further urged that all individuals who had submitted their application letters for sale deeds by 31st March 2025 be granted the opportunity to complete their sale deeds by the extended deadline.
Deputy Commissioner advised the delegation to formally submit a written request regarding the issue. Subsequently, the delegation submitted an official letter to the Deputy Commissioner’s office, seeking an extension for the execution of sale deeds until 15th April 2025.
Panchhi also appealed to the Administrator of Chandigarh to intervene in the matter and issue directions for extending the deadline in the public interest. He emphasized that individuals who had submitted their application letters by 31st March 2025 should be given the opportunity to finalize their sale deeds by the extended deadline.
