Peel Regional Police – Appeal for Witnesses in Fail to Remain Investigation

Region of Peel– Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau seek the public’s assistance in a fail to remain collision with a pedestrian in the City of Mississauga.
On Saturday, November 14, 2020, at 10:20 p.m., the victim, a 55-year-old woman from Mississauga, was struck by a vehicle that failed to remain at the scene. At 10:26 p.m. police were called to attend the area of Lewisham Drive and Truscott Drive in Mississauga for report of a woman on the roadway. Officers attended and located the victim.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was transported by paramedics to a trauma centre.
This investigation is ongoing, and police ask anyone with any information, video surveillance, or dashcam footage in or around the intersection of Lewisham Drive and Truscott Drive between 10:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. to please contact the Major Collision Bureau.
