Peel Regional Police – Arrests Made in Kidnapping Investigation

Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested and charged ten people in relation to a kidnapping investigation.
On Tuesday, December 17, 2024, patrol officers along with 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau investigators attended an address in the area of Kennedy Road & Conservation Drive in the City of Brampton, in response to a kidnapping investigation. With the assistance of Tactical Unit, police entered the residence and located three victims within the residence, who were rescued and brought to safety. Subsequent to that, police executed search warrants, which resulted in the seizure of a loaded Ruger Security 9 handgun, a Glock 17 Gen 5 handgun and ammunition.
As a result of this investigation, a total of ten parties were located inside the residence, arrested and charged with the following criminal offences:
- Kidnapping
- Forcible Confinement
- Assault Cause Bodily Harm
- Various Firearms Offences
They were all held for special bail hearings at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
