Peel Regional Police – Assistance Sought in Locating Vehicle From Fail to Remain Collision

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are seeking assistance from the public in identifying a vehicle from a fail to remain collision in the City of Brampton.  

On Thursday, November 12, 2020, at approximately 6:00 a.m., Peel Regional Police responded for a collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Queen Street and The Gore Road in the City of Brampton.

The pedestrian, a 74-year-old woman, was crossing the intersection when she was struck by a vehicle. The suspect vehicle did not remain at the scene after the collision, and the driver of the vehicle failed to render assistance to the pedestrian. The victim was transported to the hospital by paramedics and remains there for continuing treatment of her injuries.

Investigators are actively trying to identify the vehicle involved in this collision. Any witnesses or drivers that were travelling in the area with dashcam video are asked to contact the police.
