Peel Regional Police : Assistance Sought in Stabbing Investigation

Region of Peel– Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau seek assistance from the public in locating and identifying a suspect involved in a stabbing incident.

On Friday, July 28, 2023, at approximately 6:30 p.m., the suspect and victim, believed to be unknown to each other, became involved in a verbal argument in the Steeles Avenue West and Chinguacousy Road area in Brampton. The argument led to the suspect allegedly stabbing the victim several times.

The victim was transported to a trauma centre and is currently in non-life-threatening condition.

The suspect is described as slim, wearing a blue t-shirt, dark jeans, black shoes, a black baseball cap, and a black backpack.

Investigators are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspect to contact the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau at 905-453-2121 extension 2233.
