Peel Regional Police-Man Charged in a Child Pornography Investigation

Investigators from the Internet Child Exploitation Unit have arrested and charged a 26-year-old man from Mississauga for allegedly possessing child pornography and voyeurism.

Between December 2022 and July 2023, it was reported that while at MC Day Camp in the area of Lakeshore Road East and Hurontario Street in Mississauga, the victim, a 6-year-old youth, was filmed in a washroom facility by a Camp Counselor. The male has been a camp counsellor volunteer at the MC Day Camp since June 2018.    

On Wednesday, August 2, 2023, Alexander Clarke was arrested and charged with the following offences:

• Voyeurism
• Possession of Child Pornography
• Making Child Pornography
• Make Available Child Pornography

He was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

In addition, upon execution of a Criminal Code search warrant, it became evident to investigators that there may be further victims.

The investigation is currently ongoing.
