Ruby Sahota Officially Sworn In as the Re-Elected Member of Parliament

Ruby Sahota, the re-elected Member of Parliament for Brampton North, was joined by family, friends, volunteers, and supporters as she reaffirmed the Oath of Office to be sworn in, once again, as the Member of Parliament for Brampton North.

MP Sahota was first elected in 2015 and re-elected on October 21st 2019 as the Member of Parliament for Brampton North by a large margin. Support from Canadians nationwide also ensured that the Liberal Government under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was re-elected.

Surrounding by over 200 guests that attended her swearing-in, MP Sahota stated, “I would first like to say thank you to the many wonderful volunteers, including my friends and family, who worked so hard throughout this election. This victory and my swearing-in today would not have been possible without their help. I am deeply grateful to my constituents for giving me their support once again.”

“As our Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, said after the election, “you are sending our Liberal team back to work, back to Ottawa with a clear mandate. We will make life more affordable. We will continue to fight climate change. We will get guns off our streets and we will keep investing in Canadians” and that is what I intend to do as I serve Brampton North for the next four years.”

MP Sahota has proven herself as a leader who is focused on delivering real results for our Brampton community. She continues to be an active representative and is driven by the desire to give back to the city she calls home and is raising her family in. Over the last four years, Ruby has worked closely with the Prime Minister to grow the economy, strengthen the middle class, and create well-paying jobs that people can count on.
