Thanksgiving with Mississauga-Malton’s MPP Deepak Anand

Mississauga-Malton MPP, Deepak Anand hosted a free Thanksgiving luncheon at 7895 Tranmere Drive. More than 400 people including staff and volunteers enjoyed scrumptious food prepared onsite as well as traditional Thanksgiving treats; apple and pumpkin pie. Vincent Tume and Sanket D. Jariwala from the Nuclear House Band were also present and entertained the crowd with great live music.
MPP Anand spoke to thank people for their support and encouraged others to celebrate their blessings for Thanksgiving. He spoke to what Thanksgiving means to him and his family as newcomers and shared that he and his wife annually hosted a Thanksgiving meal with new families. “It was our way of sharing the spirit of our new country”.
The Honorable Michael Tibolo, Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services was also in attendance and assured the crowd that he will work with MPP Anand and his team to keep Mississauga-Malton constituents feeling safe.
The event was held just units away from MPP Anand’s new constituency office, 7985 Tranmere Dr. #20. The office is now open to constituents from Monday 9-5pm and Saturday 10-2. Appointments are encouraged but not required. Tel: (905) 696-0367
