Three Arrested in Relation to 2021 Homicide

Region of Peel – Detectives from the Peel Regional Police Homicide Bureau have arrested three men in relation to a homicide from September 2021.

On Wednesday September 22, 2021, at approximately 8:12 p.m. , Mohamed Abdirahman was in  his parked vehicle in the parking lot of a restaurant, located at 1365 Mid-Way Blvd., Mississauga. Mohamed was shot and killed by suspects who then fled the area.

On Thursday July 27, 2023, following a lengthly and extensive investigation, Homicide Detectives have a arrested and charged the following individuals:

• Nigel Gutu  – 20 years old from Stoney Creek

            Charge: First Degree Murder

• Parteek Ghuman – 22 years old from Stoney Creek

            Charge: Accessory after fact to Murder

• Malachi Riley – 25 years old from Mississauga

            Charge: Accessory after fact to Murder
