The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), in collaboration with AirAsia Airlines, successfully organized its first travel agent meet in Udaipur, Rajasthan, on 7th April at the Radisson Blu Hotel. This landmark event marked a strategic initiative to engage with travel professionals in India’s rapidly growing second-tier cities.
The meet served as a valuable platform for travel agents to exchange insights, share experiences, and explore Thailand’s diverse and emerging destinations. “We are pleased to witness the growing interest from this market and recognize the immense potential it holds,” said a representative from TAT. “Udaipur and its surrounding regions are fast emerging as a dynamic travel market, and we are excited to foster stronger ties with local partners here.”
The event was further enlivened by interactive sessions and engaging games. Several lucky participants walked away with exciting souvenirs and complimentary return tickets to Thailand, won through a fun-filled lucky draw.
This initiative underscores TAT and AirAsia’s commitment to deepening connections with travel communities across India and promoting Thailand as a preferred travel destination.
