Travel Trade Fraternity of Uttar Pradesh Organizes Candle March to Condemn Pahalgam Attack on Tourists

The Travel Trade Fraternity of Uttar Pradesh organized a solemn Candle March on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, to strongly condemn the recent terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir.

The march commenced from Hotel Taj Mahal, Lucknow, and concluded at 1090 Crossing, symbolizing a unified display of solidarity, sorrow, and support for the victims of the tragic incident.

A large number of travel industry stakeholders participated in this peaceful protest, including travel agents, tour operators, airlines, GDS providers, hoteliers, and other members of the travel ecosystem in Lucknow and across Uttar Pradesh.

Representatives from key associations such as Travel Agents Fun Club Association (TAFCA), TTAUP, TAAI UP & UK Chapter, and several other travel trade organizations came together to express their outrage and grief. Holding candles and placards, the participants walked in unity, conveying a powerful message against terrorism and standing in support of the families affected.

The event served as a poignant reminder of the travel fraternity’s commitment to peace and safety for all tourists, and a strong call to action for the protection of the travel and tourism sector in sensitive regions.
