Make safe driving your resolution in 2020

The Voice of Canada News:

he Government of Alberta encourages Albertans to practise safe driving in the new year.

The safety of Albertans is the top priority for the government. Even so, Albertans are injured and killed in collisions on the province’s roads and highways every year. However, the majority of these collisions are preventable when people use care and follow the rules of the road.

“To avoid tragedy in the new year, all of us need to make smart choices behind the wheel. That means taking care of each other by driving according to the conditions, putting away distractions and never driving impaired. Let’s make 2020 the year we all remember to drive safely to prevent tragedy on our roads.”Ric McIver, Minister of Transportation
