When the bride sings Shabad soon after her wedding & Wadali blesses her

An interesting scene unfolded at the Sector 34 Gurdwara, Chandigarh when the bride started playing harmonium and sang Shabad soon after taking the ‘laavan-fere’. The bride’s sister Gurleen Kaur sang along. The groom was also sitting with her. It was a big surprise to the guests and relatives attending the wedding ceremony.
Hazuri Ragi of Darbar Sahib, Bhai Gurdev Singh ji, who was presenting Kirtan during Jasleen Kaur’s Lavan-Fere, has also trained both the sisters in music. Renowned Sufi singer Padmashri Puranchand Wadali also presented Shabad on the occasion and blessed the bride and groom for a happy married life.
The bride’s father, CA Gurdeep Singh says that his daughter has been very fond of singing since her childhood. Jasleen Kaur of Phase-11, Mohali, is married to Raminder Singh, nephew of world-renowned Ragi Balwinder Singh Rangila (Chandigarh Wale) and son of Bhai Surinder Singh Rangila. The ritual of Anandkaraj was performed at the Gurdwara of Sector 34 for this marriage.
Bhai Balwinder Singh Rangila (Chandigarh Wale) said that he was very happy that he has now got a lifelong bonding with a highly religious and music oriented family.
