Canada Thumak DA Series Season 2 : A Grand Success

The Heartland Church Auditorium once again buzzed with energy as Adline Events proudly hosted the second season of Canada Thumak DA, a Bollywood dance reality show, following its remarkable success last year.
Launched in 2023 to promote local Canadian talent, this year’s event attracted over 40 contestants who auditioned at the Brampton Dance Studio. From these, more than 30 were selected for the Grand Finale, judged by renowned Bharat Natyam dancers Ms. Rajal Patel and Ms. Anvi Raval.
After four hours of captivating performances across solo, duo, and group categories for juniors and adults, the judges recognized outstanding talents. In the junior category, Ms. Saanjh was crowned Dancing Star 2024, with Yashvi and Ms. Simmrita taking 1st and 2nd Runner-Up, respectively. In the dual team category, Prabvika and Navini emerged as the Dancing Stars, while Arjun and Siya and Rohan and Myna were 1st and 2nd Runners-Up. For adults, Manoj BK took the title of Dancing Star 2024, with Gaurav Isai and Anindita Biswas as 1st and 2nd Runners-Up. Additional awards included Best Costume for Ahana and Pravi, Best Facial Expressions for Kritik and Kunishka, and Electrifying Performance awarded to both Brampton Legends and Mississauga Angels.
The event, attended by a lively audience, concluded with prize distribution by special guest Mr. Darshan Chopra, father of Olympic medalist Neeraj Chopra. He shared heartfelt poetry about the event and praised the organizers. Media Partner The Voice of Canada, represented by Mr. Sanjay Pahwa, also congratulated the winners and organizers.
Hosted by Srijeet Chaudhuri, who engaged the audience throughout, the event featured high-quality sound and lighting by Beats of Canada, along with delicious offerings from Tadka By Hanu.
