“Canada ThumakDA” A Spectacular Event Showcasing Local Canadian Talent in the Bollywood Dance Genre

Adline Integrated Media Services, an event-organizing company, successfully organized an event called “Canada ThumakDA” that aimed to promote local Canadian talent in the Bollywood dance genre. The event included an audition that witnessed over 50 participants, with 25+ participants, including children and adults, selected to participate in the Grand Finale. The audition was judged by Mrs. Prabha Subhadra, a Kuchipudi Dancer, and Mrs. Reena Shah, who specialized in the Kathak and Garba Dance genres. The Grand Finale was judged by Mrs. Rajal Patel, a great Bharatanatyam dancer who is also a garba dancer and has judged many competitions in the past.
The event was held at Heartland Church Auditorium, and admission was free for the audience. The event was supported by Title Sponsor YRD The Chopra Group, and other support sponsors, including India Sajawat, Puja Hut, Diamond Insurance Group, Astrovidya, Roop Mahal Jewellers, and SJ Classic Boutique. Media partners The Voice of Canada, The Voice of Chandigarh, and Awaz Entertainment promoted the Canada ThumakDa event.
The winners included Ms. Ankur, Mr. Krishna, and young girl Rhea, who won the Dancing Star 2023 Adult Category, Dancing Star 2023 Wild Card Category, and Dancing Star 2023 in the Junior Category, respectively. The event also recognized some special performances, including the Most Electrifying Performance award and the Best Facial Expression award. Adline also arranged an optional choreography session for the participants before the finale, which was conducted by the finale judge Rajal Patel and was well-appreciated by the participants.
The event was hosted by EMCEE Srijeet Chaudhuri, who kept the audience engaged until the end.
