City of Brampton seeking feedback to develop Public Art Strategy

The Voice of Canada News:

The City of Brampton is developing its first Public Art Strategy to further leverage the value of public art in building a vibrant, prosperous and inclusive city with engaging public spaces.

The Public Art Strategy will guide the City’s approach to its current public art collection and inform future public art initiatives. Public feedback is currently being sought through an online survey here and several in-person engagement sessions.

Public art includes a wide range of artistic expressions (temporary or permanent) and can come in a wide range of forms, sizes, styles and mediums (such as sculptures, monuments, interactive art, murals, new media, functional furniture and more). It is a form of collective community expression and a reflection of how we see the world.
Complete the survey between now and May 31, 2023, for a chance to win a pair of tickets to an upcoming performance at The Rose Brampton.  Connect with us in person at one of our engagement sessions. Your input will impact the future of public art in Brampton.
