Dass & Brown Experiential Learning School (D-BELS) hosted its three-day orientation event, ‘GET-SET-GO’, the Parent Facilitation Meet, at its vibrant campus in Panchkula.
Designed to welcome new families into the D-BELS community, the event provided an immersive introduction to the school’s curriculum, culture, and classroom practices.
Parents, accompanied by their children, participated in informative sessions that covered the school’s distinctive curriculum structure — a blend of the Finnish Early Years model and the globally recognised Cambridge framework. They also received hands-on guidance on the use of the school’s AI-powered ERP system, which will serve as a real-time bridge for communication between school and home.
Speaking on the importance of building trust and transparency with families, the Principal, Anju Mehta said, “At D-BELS, our focus is not just on what students will learn — but in how they will learn. The focus will be on inquiry based and exploratory learning.
The GET-SET-GO Meet was about creating a space of connection, where parents feel like true partners in the learning journey from day one.”
While parents explored the academic roadmap ahead, the children participated in joyful activities and interactive learning corners, making their own early connections with the space and faculty. The event concluded with a hi-tea session, offering an opportunity for informal conversations between families and school leaders.
Reflecting on the event, Dy. CEO, Dr. Gopan Gopalakrishnan noted, “This event embodies our core belief — that education is most powerful when it’s personal, purposeful, and collaborative. Seeing parents engage, ask questions, and share stories gave us a glimpse of the vibrant learning community we’re building together at D-BELS.”
With the new academic year beginning on April 16, the school is all set to welcome its learners into a thoughtfully crafted environment—one that places equal emphasis on creativity, critical thinking, emotional well-being, and future-readiness.
