Born on January 18, 1979, in Ferozpur City, Punjab, Gaurav’s journey from Chandigarh to New Delhi and then to Canada has been a testament to his relentless drive for success. A proud Capricorn, Gaurav’s professional journey reflects his commitment and expertise.

Before founding DC Elite, Gaurav served as Assistant Vice President at a leading bank in India, specializing in mortgages. With over 20 years of experience in business development, he now serves as a Global Business Leader for one of the world’s most renowned recruitment firms. Holding a double Master’s degree in Marketing from Canada and India, Gaurav combines his corporate acumen with a deep passion for community service.

In February 2023, Gaurav founded DC Elite Indian and Multicultural Community, a non-profit organization that fosters connections across cultures in the Greater Toronto Area. Under his leadership, the community has grown to 1600+ members, with active groups on platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and TikTok. His efforts to bring people together through cultural events, such as Diwali and Holi potlucks, have positively impacted the community’s mental well-being.

Gaurav has been honored with the Queen Elizabeth II pin and certificate from the Government of Canada for his contributions. His work has been featured on major media platforms like CP24, Canada One TV, and Radio Gold. Gaurav’s legacy is one of collaboration, compassion, and commitment to social causes.
