The newly opened section across the iconic Chenab Railway Bridge, the highest in the world, now allows seamless rail travel between Katra and Srinagar in just three hours. This advancement will greatly benefit pilgrims visiting Mata Vaishno Devi, enabling them to extend their journey and experience the scenic Kashmir Valley—now accessible year-round, thanks to the train’s all-weather capability.
This development is a major boost to India’s travel and tourism industry. ADTOI has an active state chapter in Srinagar, where our members are well-equipped to assist travelers from across the country. Through the initiatives of our National Growth Committee, ADTOI fosters strong inter-state collaboration, allowing members to connect and serve tourists pan-India.
