Indian Aviation Academy to impart quality education to budding pilots

To impart quality education to budding pilots and prepare them for regulatory examination, Indian Aviation Academy, New Delhi – a joint training academy of Airports Authority of India (AAI), Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Udaan Academy, Fursatganj, Amethi (U.P.) – a renowned flying school.

Amber Dubey, Joint Secretary, MoCA was the chief guest of MoU signing ceremony. The MoU was signed by Shri Hareendranathan E P, Executive Director, IAA and Shri Krishnendu Gupta, Director, IGRUA in presence of Shri Manoj Chansoria, GM (Training), IAA and other senior officials of both the institutions.

The Indian civil aviation sector contributes to the Indian economy by facilitating the growth of air travel, business, trade and tourism. With the demand for skilled human resources increasing in Civil Aviation, the sector needs to ensure adequate availability of quality human resource across all domains of aviation. Qualified and competent pilots are the torchbearers of safe and efficient aviation who need quality education and training interventions.

The MoU will facilitate offering innovative, quality courses jointly by both institutions. It will also contribute to fostering a robust, sustained aviation ecosystem.
