Kirron Kher inaugurates Community Centre at Sector 33

Kirron Kher, Member Parliament, UT Chandigarh dedicated newly built community center in Sector 33, Chandigarh in presence of Davesh Moudgil, Mayor, Rajesh Gupta, area councilor, Manoj Bansal, Chief Engineer, Arjeet Singh, S.E. B&R, MCC, other councilors & officers of MCC and prominent persons from the city amongst eminent guests present on the occasion.
Appreciating the contribution of area councillor, Kirron Kher said that it will be a best community center in Chandigarh and will cater to the needs of local area residents. She requested all the ward residents to ensure a promise to MCC to maintain the community centre through community participation so that it last for long.
She appreciated the work of engineering team of MCC for working tirelessly in accomplishing before deadline of completing the project. She also urged city resident to make their valuable contribution in making Chandigarh a top ranked city in the country under Swachh Survekshan.
Davesh Moudgil, Mayor on this occasion appreciated the role of not only the area councilor but all Resident welfare associations for their proactive participation in development of ward for this project and for maintenance of all the green belt and supporting Swachh Bharat Mission too.
He said that it is built on 7440 sq. ft. covered surface area at ground floor with an expenditure of Rs. 2.16 crore, having hall, library, modular kitchen, pantry, chowkidar room and toilet blocks. Similarly 4080 Sqft covered area at first floor having gymnasium, bridegroom room, bridle room, terrace, store, toilets.
Earlier, Rajesh Gupta, area councillor welcomed the Chief Guest, other dignitaries and the residents of Chandigarh at the inaugural ceremony. He has highlighted the key features of the newly built Community Center at Sector 33.
