Mayor Harpreet Kaur Babla leads Inspection at Sector 32 Fire Station to Ensure Emergency Preparedness

City Mayor Harpreet Kaur Babla, accompanied by Senior Deputy Mayor Jasbir Singh Bunty, Deputy Mayor Taruna Mehta, Mahesh Inder Singh Siddhu, Chairman Fire Committee, MCC and Councillor Saurabh Joshi, visited the Fire Station in Sector 32 to conduct a thorough inspection of safety equipment and emergency preparedness protocols.

The delegation reviewed the functionality and availability of essential fire safety tools, rescue equipment, and emergency response vehicles. The visit was part of an ongoing initiative to ensure that the fire department remains fully equipped and ready to handle any emergency situation efficiently.

The Mayor and team was apprised by the concerned station fire officer that all the equipment in the fire stations are ready to put into service anytime due to emergency situations. They briefed that water tenders, motorcycles, combi tools and Communication systems and other important tools etc. are in ready position to serve at anytime.

Mayor Babla emphasized the significance of timely inspections and highlighted the city’s commitment to the safety and well-being of its residents. “Our fire services are a frontline defense in times of crisis. Ensuring their readiness is a responsibility we take very seriously.
