The Voice of Canda News:
Ruby Sahota, Member of Parliament for Brampton North, welcomed the Brampton community into her office for her annual family friendly Community Easter Egg Hunt.
The Hunt served as an opportunity for the community of Brampton North, in particular children, to meet their Member of Parliament and participate in this community activity. Dozens of children participated in the Easter Egg Hunt while their parents had the opportunity to speak with MP Sahota about Budget 2019 and other initiatives, like the Canada Child Benefit, the middle-class tax cut, and the price on pollution, that are helping families in Brampton North ensure a better future from their children.
“The best investment our government can make is in our children, in our next generation. Our government’s decisions have resulted in more than 300,000 children being lifted out of poverty, while also making investments in their education, skills development, and building a green economy,” said MP Ruby Sahota. “As we invest in our kids, it’s important that they know their representatives are accessible. I do a lot of outreach into the community and my office is always busy with constituents, but this event is something I host for the children in our community, and they always have a blast.”
