Peel Regional Police – Appeal For Witnesses or Dash-Cam Footage In Fail To Remain Collision

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are appealing for any witnesses or  video footage for a fail-to-remain collision in Mississauga. 

On Friday, August 18, 2023, at approximately 11:00 p.m., a collision occurred between a motor vehicle and a pedestrian crossing mid-block on Dundas Street east of The Credit Woodlands in Mississauga. The vehicle then fled the scene after striking the victim. 

The victim, a 58-year-old man, sustained life-threatening injuries due to the collision and is presently in hospital.

The suspect vehicle is a dark-colored four-door sedan. The vehicle will have had visible damage to the following areas:

  • Damaged Windshield
  • Drivers Side Front Fender
  • Drivers Side Front Wheel Well Cover (over tire)

Investigators are appealing for any witnesses in the area who witnessed the collision, have dash cam footage, or are from vehicle repair centers that may have any information on the suspect or suspect vehicle to call investigators with the Major Collision Bureau at (905) 453–2121, ext. 3710.
