Peel Regional Police – Assistance Needed in a Sex Offence Investigation

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit are looking to identify a suspect who committed a sexual offence on a 9-year-old boy at a shopping mall in Mississauga.
In July 2023, the 9-year-old boy was accessing a public washroom at the Square One Shopping Mall when the suspect allegedly engaged in a conversation with him that was sexual in nature. The victim and suspect are strangers.
The suspect is described as a white male, possibly tanned complexion, 5’6-5’9 inches tall, average to thin build, with a full beard, braids, and dreadlock-type hair. He was seen wearing black pants, a black t-shirt with an unknown logo and distinct red ‘Air Force One’ type shoes.
The suspect is wanted for the following offence:
- Invitation to Sexual Touching
