Peel Regional Police – Assistance Needed to Identify Persons of Interest in Brampton Shooting

Region of Peel– Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying three persons of interest in relation to a shooting investigation in the City of Brampton. 

On Monday, August 31, 2020, at 3:44 p.m., police were called to a cemetery in the area of Chinguacousy Road and Bovaird Drive in Brampton in relation to a shooting that had occurred between several people.

During the course of the initial investigation, three victims were located suffering from gunshot wounds. One man was located on Mistdale Crescent and was transported to a trauma centre. A second man was located at a firehall in the area of Hurontario Street and Steeles Avenue and was transported to a local hospital. A third man walked into a Brampton hospital to seek treatment.

There were four vehicles within the grounds of the cemetery, a nearby school and a residence that sustained damage as a result of the gunfire, however, no further victims were located as a result.

Investigators have obtained photos of three men, who are considered persons of interest in this case.
