Peel Regional Police – Assistance Sought in Shooting Investigation

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are investigating a shooting in Mississauga.

On Monday, August 3, 2020, at 9:36 p.m., police received a call for a report of shots fired at a residence in the area of Huntington Ridge Drive in the City of Mississauga.

Once officers arrived on scene, a 25-year-old man was located suffering from a gunshot wound. Further investigation revealed that a vehicle was seen fleeing the area. The victim was transported to a trauma center in life-threatening condition where he remains.  

Police are seeking the assistance of anyone with dashboard camera surveillance in the area of Mavis Road and Eglinton Avenue West on August 3, 2020, between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. to contact investigators.
