The Voice of Canada News:
Region of Peel – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police 22 Criminal Investigation Bureau have identified all involved persons and vehicles involved in a physical altercation that was originally being investigated as a possible kidnapping in Brampton.
On Saturday, September 19, 2020, at approximately 10:07 p.m., a caller contacted 911 and advised that two males were in an altercation with a female in Creditview Road and Wanless Drive in the City of Brampton.
The caller indicated that they believed a female was forced possibly into a black SUV and was heard yelling, “help me help me.” Additional information received indicated that the black Audi left the area travelling northbound on Creditview Road, a red sedan followed the black Audi from the scene.
Investigators originally believed that a woman associated with a red vehicle and two men associated with a black SUV pulled into a parking lot area of a commercial space. A woman exited a red vehicle and a male exited a black SUV. A short time later, a physical altercation occurred between the two drivers. Both drivers returned to their respective vehicles and left the parking lot separately.
With assistance from the public and review of further video evidence, investigators have identified three women and both vehicles involved in this incident. This investigation is ongoing, however, officers would like to thank the public and media outlets for the assistance they provided in this case.
