Peel Regional Police – Oath of Office – Deputy Chief Lauren Jackson

Region of Peel – The Peel Police Services Board and Peel Regional Police would like to officially welcome Deputy Chief Lauren Jackson, who was sworn in as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) on October 23, 2023. She will join Chief Nishan Duraiappah’s executive team.
Deputy Chief Jackson joins Peel Regional Police from Deloitte Inc., where she was a Partner and served as the National Security & Justice Leader. Her vast experience in working with policing, fire, paramedic, justice, and security agencies at all three levels of government, within Canada and internationally, will greatly benefit Peel Regional Police and the community.
Deputy Chief Jackson brings 14 years of demonstrated expertise in providing guidance, direction, and purposeful leadership in managing complex operational and administrative change initiatives. She will join Deputies Andrews, Dapat, Milinovich and Odoardi to provide strategic leadership, direction and oversight for the general business, administration, and support functions across our organization,
Deputy Chief Jackson is a Board Member of the Global Law Enforcement & Public Health Association. She is an active participant in her community, having held volunteer roles with health care and social service agencies, serving as a mentor within the LGBTQIA+ Mentorship program at Deloitte Inc.
Peel Regional Police is one of the largest municipal police services in Canada, serving more than 1.4 million residents in Brampton and Mississauga. With Deputy Chief Lauren’s appointment, the Board and police service will benefit from her leadership and expertise, ensuring that Peel Regional Police continues to provide quality policing services to the community.
