Peel Regional Police – Stranger Sexual Assault Investigation Commences

Region of Peel– Investigators from the Special Victims Unit are seeking assistance from the public, in identifying a suspect involved in a sexual assault investigation.

On Sunday, September 20, 2020, at approximately 2:15 p.m., the female victim was assaulted by an unknown suspect at a multi-retail business facility in the area of Steeles Avenue East and Parkhurst Square in the City of Brampton. The victim suffered no physical injuries.

The suspect in this incident is described as male, brown, between 35-50 years in age and of an average build. The suspect was last seen wearing blue jeans with a red stripe down the side, a jacket with the American flag on it, black shoes with a red/orange line and a black mask. Investigators from the Special Victims Unit are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information related to his identity.
