Peel Regional Police – Wanted Offender Arrested

On Thursday, May 30, 2024, a Canada-wide warrant was issued for Jagmohanjit Jheety, a 47-year-old man from Saskatchewan for the following Criminal Code Offences:

• Criminal Harassment
• Harassing Communications
• Uttering Death Threats
• Fail to Comply with Release Order

On Saturday, July 13, 2024, investigators located Jheety in Brampton and arrested him for his outstanding warrant. He was additionally charged with the following Criminal Code Offences:

• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
• Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
• Careless Storage of Firearm
• Tampering with Serial Number of a Firearm
• Attempted Murder

He was held pending a bail hearing.
