Punjab youth will play an important role to bring farmers’ movement to fruition: S. Parminder Dhindsa

Says people of Haryana supported the movement, fulfilled the duty of a younger brother

Shiromani Akali Dal (Democratic) senior leader and former Punjab Finance Minister, MLA from Lehra S. Parminder Singh Dhindsa with his supporters had been a constant part of the farmers’ movement and stood shoulder to shoulder with them to raise the voice of struggling farmers. Going on with the same, S. Dhindsa reached Bahadurgarh border; where he felt good to witness a large number of youngsters being involved in the farmers’ agitation.

On the occasion, he said that while every citizen of Punjab had contributed in the anti-farmer movement, especially the youth who joined in large numbers had given their lives in the movement. S. Dhindsa said that at different places, wherever he went and joined the farmers’ stir, a large number of youngsters were witnessed. Seeing the enthusiasm of the youth, he said, “The youth would play a vital role in bringing this farmers’ movement to fruition. The youth of Punjab were aware of their rights and would continue to fight for the same in the future as well,” said S. Dhindsa.

On the occasion, S. Dhindsa also thanked the people of Haryana and said that Haryana has fulfilled its duty of being the younger brother of Punjab. He said that the farmers of Punjab had shown the way to the farmers of the country and the farmers of Haryana and the general public in particular had also contributed a lot in the agitation. S. Dhindsa appealed to the centre to immediately meet the reasonable demands of the farmers and provide relief to them.
