Governor of Punjab and Administrator UT Chandigarh held his review meeting with senior officers in UT Secretariat

Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh held his review meeting with senior officers in UT Secretariat.  Earlier due to Covid restrictions regular War Room meetings were being held in Punjab Raj Bhawan.  After a long time, the Administrator decided to hold the meeting in UT Secretariat, after improvement in Covid cases.   Adviser, Manoj Parida, Principal Secretary Home, Arun Kumar Gupta, Director General of Police, Sanjay Beniwal, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, K K Yadav, Deputy Commissioner, Mandip Brar and Chief Engineer, CB Ojha attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the newly appointed Chief Engineer,C B Ojha made a detailed PowerPoint presentation on the ongoing and proposed engineering projects in various parts of the city.  The Administrator directed that a detailed presentation should be made in the Administrator’s Advisory Council so that the views of Council’s members could be taken.

Keeping in view the fact that the Punjab Government has decided to open their Apni Mandis, the Administrator also decided to open Apni Mandis in Chandigarh.
