Tourism Authority of Thailand, New Delhi, in Association with TBO, Hosts Networking Agent Meet in Raipur

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), New Delhi, in collaboration with TBO, successfully organized a Networking Agent Meet at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Raipur, on 28th March 2025. The event aimed to update travel agents on Thailand’s latest tourism products, emerging destinations, and the benefits of participating in an incentive program and certification program.

Vaishali Sharma, Marketing Officer of Thailand Tourism, highlighted new and exciting destinations for Indian travelers. She promoted Krabi, Koh Lanta, and Koh Lipe as ideal spots for *relaxing getaways, while emphasizing the growing popularity of *adventurous activities such as skydiving and hot air balloon rides in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai in northern Thailand.

Ms. Sharma further noted that Chhattisgarh is emerging as a strong and promising market for Thailand tourism. With the support of *IndiGo Airlines, the connectivity and demand from the region have expanded significantly. She mentioned that travelers from Chhattisgarh are increasingly exploring destinations **beyond Bangkok, seeking *new experiences and offbeat locations in Amazing Thailand.

The event provided travel agents with valuable insights into Thailand’s diverse offerings and the potential for collaboration through the marketing campaigns and incentive and certification programs, aimed at boosting Thailand tourism from the region.
