
Lions Club Chandigarh Greater Announces New Leadership Team for 2026–27

Lions Club Chandigarh Greater (District 321F), a proud chapter of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service organization with over 1.4 million members worldwide has announced its new leadership team for the Lionistic Year 2026–27.

Lion Ajay Gupta, MJF, has officially assumed office as the President of Lions Club Chandigarh Greater. A committed social worker and dedicated Lion, he takes over the reins with a vision to further strengthen the club’s community service initiatives and expand its humanitarian outreach.


The newly elected office bearers are: President: Lion Ajay Gupta, MJF; Secretary: Lion Vijay Puniani, MJF; Treasurer: Lion Sudeep Bamra; Joint Secretary: Lion Gopal Gupta; Tamer: Lion Pritam Singh; Tail Twister: Lion Sameer Madan; Club Administrator: PMJF Lion Dr. Amarjot Singh; Club Membership Chairperson: MJF Lion R.K. Sharma; Club Marketing Chairperson: MJF Lion Sushil Kapoor; Club Service Chairperson: PMJF Lion V.K. Mehan; and Club LCIF Chairperson: MJF Lion Baldev Narang.
Expressing his appreciation for the outgoing team, President Lion Ajay Gupta acknowledged their unwavering dedication, exemplary leadership, and significant contributions to the club’s humanitarian mission. The newly installed office bearers also pledged to uphold the club’s rich legacy of service and continue making a meaningful difference in society.
Sharing the collective vision of the new leadership team, President Lion Ajay Gupta said:

Lions Club Chandigarh Greater has consistently been at the forefront of community service by organizing a wide range of humanitarian initiatives, including eye care camps, dental hygiene awareness programmes, medical check-up camps, blood donation drives, educational support projects, road safety campaigns, and welfare programmes for senior citizens, underprivileged children, and persons with disabilities.
Lion Ajay Gupta, who also serves as the President of the Chandigarh Business Council (CBC), brings a visionary approach to this leadership position. He will leverage his experience in administration and community service to further strengthen the club’s service initiatives and community engagement.
The club’s monthly meetings, held at Lions VTC, provide an effective platform for planning future service projects, fostering collaboration with local organizations, and strengthening fellowship and inter-club relations.
