MPP Deepak Anand’s Annual Mississauga–Malton Mother’s Day Celebration

MPP Deepak Anand’s Office hosted its Annual Mother’s Day Celebration at Malton Community Centre, welcoming mothers, families, and friends for an afternoon of fun, laughter, and connection.

The Annual Mother’s Day Celebration brings the community together to show appreciation for the incredible mothers and mother figures in our lives. Families enjoyed storytelling, games, photo opportunities, and delicious refreshments throughout the afternoon. One of the highlights of the event was an interactive game where participants answered fun questions about their mothers, creating many memorable moments and shared laughs.

“Mother’s Day is a perfect time to come together and show all the mothers and mother figures in our lives how much they mean to us,” said Deepak Anand. “It was wonderful seeing families share laughs, create memories, and celebrate the love and appreciation they have for their mothers and grandmothers.”

Families shared their appreciation for the event and the opportunity to spend quality time together. One mother shared, “I had a lot of fun playing the question game with my son. I was surprised he knew my favourite song, and it was so nice singing it together.” Another attendee added, “I am so grateful to have spent time with my kids here today. We had so much fun taking photos together and enjoying all the activities.”
