Peel Regional Police – Search Warrant Results in Drug Trafficking and Stolen Property Charges

Region of Peel – Members of the 22 Division Community Incident Response Team (CIRT) along with 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested and charged two Brampton men following the execution of a search warrant that resulted in the seizure of drugs and stolen goods.

On Aug. 6, 2025, officers executed a criminal code search warrant at a residential address in Brampton. During the search, investigators recovered a substantial quantity of suspected illicit substances, including Heroin and Crystal Methamphetamine, with an estimated combined street value of over $110,000. In addition, police located and seized a large quantity of stolen goods, with a total estimated value of over $54,000.

As a result, two males were located and arrested at the scene.

Parveen Gill, 40-year-old male from Brampton, is charged with:

  • Disobeying a court order
  • Possession of stolen property
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Crystal Methamphetamine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Heroin

Gurpreet Mangat, 26-year-old male from Brampton, is charged with:

  • Failure to comply with a release order
  • Possession of stolen property
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Crystal Methamphetamine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Heroin

Both accused were held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
