The Voice of Canada
Region of Peel – Investigators with the Central Robbery Bureau have arrested 10 individuals following an extensive investigation into a series of violent carjackings and high-end vehicle thefts across the Greater Toronto Area.
Between June 2025 and April 2026, Project High Guard focused on 21 incidents of vehicle thefts, in which, in some cases, knives and firearms were brandished and victims were physically assaulted. In some cases, victims suffered severe injuries.
