Chandigarh Traffic Police observing the 32nd National Road Safety Month 2021

During the ongoing 32nd National Road Safety Month 2021 Chandigarh Traffic Police in association with Mr Neeraj Goel “Vice President Group after-sale” PIONEER TOYOTA EM PEE MOTOR LIMITED & Satbir Singh Anand of ANAND SALES undertook an Initiative for the SAFETY and VISIBILITY of Bicycle /Rehri/Rickshaw users/pullers by AFFIXING REFLECTORS and REFLECTIVE TAPE STICKERS on the REHRI/RICKSHAW/ BICYCLE at Bapu Dham Colony Sector-26 lead consisting of Jaswinder Singh, DSP Traffic (R&D), Jaspal Singh Inspector CTP along with Road Safety awareness & Cycle Safety Squad team.

During this drive, the Rehri / Rickshaw / Cycle users were made aware about the Importance and Benefits of Usage of Cycle Tracks and to Cross the Rotary/Intersection from the coloured (Red) marked area upon their Traffic light signal light turning Green reflecting bicycle image which is for their own safety. 900 Literature consisting of Traffic Road Signages and how to cross the road from Pedestrian crossing were also distributed to them.

600 Reflectors were affixed on 150 Rehris ( 4 reflectors on 01 Rehri ) 100 Reflectors were affixed on 25 Rickshaw (4 reflectors on 01 Rickshaw) and 150 Reflective Tape Stickers were affixed upon 50 bicycles of Children ( 3 Reflectors on 01 cycle)

A small quiz was held by S S Anand from “Anand Sales” 10 Reflective Jackets were also distributed to winners.
